Early Exit From Wedding Dinner Draws Fire From Mother-In-Law

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Found on the Web. You might find you like it. See what you think.

DEAR ABBY: My mother-in-law is upset with my wife and me for sneaking out of a wedding reception early (before the dinner was served). There was a long delay between the reception and the dinner, and a DJ was playing loud, deafening rock ‘n’ roll music.

Hope this article works for you. I keep searching for good stories. You can check the source for the details.

What Happened to Throwing Rice at Weddings? How the Wedding Rice Toss is Changing at Modern Weddings

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Discovered this on the Web. Love to read this stuff. Check this thing out.

Throwing rice at weddings is one of the oldest known wedding customs, but the past few decades have seen a deep decline in the tradition. Learn where the wedding rice toss came from, why it’s rapidly disappearing from modern ceremonies (it’s not the reason you might think), and some 21st century wedding rice alternatives that are reviving the practice, with a twist.

It worked for me. I’m always looking. You can see the entire article if you’re interested.

People Love Em! – Why Save the Date Magnets Work So Well!

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Here’s an article from the Web. You might like it. See if you like it.

How come they work so well? As I wrote previously, I typically take a average save the date card and, once I take down the main points off of it, I toss it. If I do stick it up on the refrigerator, I do it with a magnet irrespectively. Once it falls off, though, I get annoyed and then trash it. I always stick the refrigerator magnets up and they don’t often slip off (that is unless they are holding up card or party invite!). Here are the other reasons why people love to get them and to use them.

It helped me. I found a bunch of articles about this. You can see the entire article if you are interested.

Is a White Flower Girl Dress Too "Wishy-Washy"?

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Here’s one from the Web. I really spend too much time surfing. Have a gander.

Isn’t a white flower girl dress a bit too basic? Shouldn’t a flower girl get to wear something with a print or pattern instead of something so simple and plain? Interestingly enough most people are not aware that the flower girl dress is white by tradition since the Queen Victoria’s marriage to Prince Albert.

I hope you find it interesting. I keep looking for good stories. You can see the entire article if you’re interested.

Basic Invitation Inserts

May 30th, 2010 Raymond No comments

This just in from the Web. I’ve been spending too much time surfing.

When I received my first wedding invitation, it was pretty much what I thought it would be, a nice piece of paper with an invitation to a wedding. No big surprises here but the very next year, I received another that was completely different and unique from the first.

Hope this article works for you. I keep looking for good stories. You can check the source to read it all.
