Wedding plans offer opportunity to discuss marriage values (12/29/11)

December 30th, 2011 Raymond No comments

Discovered on 12/29/11. I like to learn this stuff. Have a look.

Dear Amy: I just got engaged. My fiance wants a traditional wedding in a church with a reception afterward. I want to go to the courthouse. We each want these things with equal intensity. I have proposed a compromise: that we get married in the church alone, and then have a public reception.

I hope you find it interesting. I’ll keep looking for good stories. Check the source for the details.

Should You See Your Fiance On The Wedding Morning?

December 6th, 2011 Raymond No comments

Here’s one from the Web. It appealed to me. Have a look.

For generations, brides and grooms have elected not to see one another on the morning of their wedding. Even as couples started living together before marriage, they held fast to this custom, and stay in separate locations the night before the wedding. Today, however, a lot more couples are doing a “first look” pre-ceremony. Find out if it might be right for you to see your fiance on the morning of your wedding.

I hope it works for you. I’m always surfing. You can check the source to read it all.

Jessica Simpson Postpones Wedding to Eric Johnson

September 28th, 2011 Raymond No comments

I discovered this on the Web. Interesting. See if you like it.

No race to the altar here! Jessica Simpson ’s ex-hubby Nick Lachey remarried in July, but the Fashion Star mentor is in no rush to say “I do” to fiance Eric Johnson . Although it’s been over 10 months since Johnson, 32, proposed, insiders tell the new Us Weekly — on stands Friday — that all wedding plans have been put on hold.

Does it help? I’m always looking for the good articles. See the article for all the details.

Benefits of a Destination Wedding

August 22nd, 2011 Raymond No comments

Discovered in the Web. You might find this interesting. See what you think.

Having a destination wedding allows you to married the way you and your fiance want to. All too often parents and other family members dictate the budget and taste of the wedding. Destination weddings allow independent couples to get married the way they want, rather than trying to satisfy others. Marriage is about two people dedicating their love for one another not an attempt to make overbearing family members happy.

Hope this article is enlightening. I’ll be on the lookout for more like it. See the article for all the details.

Alternative Wedding Registries for Couples Who Have The Basics

June 20th, 2011 Raymond No comments

Discovered in the Web. I like to find this stuff. Have a gander.

What do you register for if you and your fiance already live together and have a house full of things? Not all gift lists have to be filled with silverware, linens or other unnecessary items, and if you are one of these couples who doesn’t want more stuff, you’ll find a cash wedding registry to be a great solution. One of the benefits of an alternative wedding registry is that you can register for cash gifts towards anything that fits your lifestyle.
