I discovered this article in the Web. I kind of liked it. You might like it.

Sure, people love a good wedding ceremony — all those cute flower girls, weepy mothers and solemn promises. But let’s be honest: We all know that your wedding guests wish you’d hurry up and say “I do” so they can move on to the after-party.

I hope it works for you. Always surfing. See the source for more.

What Happened to Throwing Rice at Weddings? How the Wedding Rice Toss is Changing at Modern Weddings

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Discovered this on the Web. Love to read this stuff. Check this thing out.

Throwing rice at weddings is one of the oldest known wedding customs, but the past few decades have seen a deep decline in the tradition. Learn where the wedding rice toss came from, why it’s rapidly disappearing from modern ceremonies (it’s not the reason you might think), and some 21st century wedding rice alternatives that are reviving the practice, with a twist.

It worked for me. I’m always looking. You can see the entire article if you’re interested.

Is a White Flower Girl Dress Too "Wishy-Washy"?

May 31st, 2010 Raymond No comments

Here’s one from the Web. I really spend too much time surfing. Have a gander.

Isn’t a white flower girl dress a bit too basic? Shouldn’t a flower girl get to wear something with a print or pattern instead of something so simple and plain? Interestingly enough most people are not aware that the flower girl dress is white by tradition since the Queen Victoria’s marriage to Prince Albert.

I hope you find it interesting. I keep looking for good stories. You can see the entire article if you’re interested.

Trash the Dress – After the Gown Has Gone

April 30th, 2010 Raymond No comments

This just in from the Web. Hmmm. Any interest?

Ask any bride and they will undoubtedly tell you the same thing – the dress has to be right. It will come as no surprise then to learn that on average, a bride will happily part with ,500 for that perfect gown. Once upon a time this was seen as an investment, especially if one was honoring the tradition of passing this dress down through the family, but this no longer seems the popular choice.

It helped me. I’ve discovered a bunch of articles about this. You can check the source for all the details.

April 30th, 2010 Raymond No comments

Discovered this on the Web. Works for me. See if you like it.

The honeymoon is considered a tradition that many couples have been skipping lately due to the cost associated with it. There was a time when honeymoons were the second most anticipated part of the wedding. Brides and grooms would frequently sneak out of their own receptions to get a head start on their honeymoons.

Hope it’s enlightening. Always looking. You can see the article for the details.
